Art is something that I have enjoyed creating since I can remember. I originally went to college to major in art, but marriage and family pulled me in a more “grown-up” direction. Even while working in the information technology consulting field, I have always kept close to my passion, art.
I began to paint professionally when friends and others in the art world made me realize that my avocation could actually be my vocation. In the spring of 2010, I entered my first art competition and was honored to win a Wisconsin State Exhibit Award for “Creek Street,” a scene from Ketchikan, Alaska.
I continue to hone my skills studying under Lorin Willey who is an internationally recognized artist. Lorin is a multi-award winning artist who has exhibited his work throughout the United States and Ireland, and is in prestigious collections in America, Ireland, England, Scotland, Belgium, France, and Australia.”
My work can be found in private collections and in area businesses
